New York still remains the greatest city in the world. That must really bug America-haters everywhere.
I wanted to refrain from posting anything about 9-11. I’m not from New York nor did I know anyone who died or was directly affected by the tragedy. (Of course, this doesn’t mean I was unaffected by it all. I am a citizen of the world, after all.)
The reason I decided to sit this one out was because I feel that we each handle these days in our own way. Yes, I’m a writer so writing about it should be mine. But something like this, for me, is bigger than the words I have.
So I’ll leave it at that and instead offer the work of Hugh MacLeod at Gaping Void.
