I read several of his books and really connected with his writing style. I will sure miss him.
Sad news. I enjoyed his writing. With no projects to look forward to we will have to be satisfied with what he has done.
oh i didn’t know he had cancer… it is quite a shock to hear this sad news… have been able to read several of his works… such a big loss
Michael Crichton was not only a riveting novelist, indeed he was an intellectual giant. When you read his novel, you are engaged in an unforgettable intellectual journey. I believe he was too young to leave us. I hope this generation would be able to find someone like him.
Its a sad loss, I didn’t even know he was sick.
It is sad when a great writer like this passes away. I will surely re-read some of his books again when I get the chance.
This is very sad news. I have read most of his books and they often gave me a very good time. I was always looking forward to his new books. “Rising sun” was my favourite
Oh my gosh, I had no idea. He was the first author I was seriously into, I remember when I was about 14 reading jurassic park and the lost world (both books IMMEASURABLY better than the films…immeasurably)
Tis a great shame
I cant believe it, he was amazing, I didnt even now he was ill, he’ll be sadly missed, he is a legend and a genius writer
That is sad, he was such a good writer, and i agree the jurassic park books were immeasurably better than the movies.
It is a loss. I read The Andromeda Strain at a young age and it opened my eyes to sci-fi.
