I agree with you on the wisdom part of becoming a parent at a more mature age, although my wife think its cool she can now discuss fashion and shopping with our teenager. With our three years old, we’re both more patient and understanding now, although its getting harder to cope up with the kid’s seemingly inexhaustible energy.

Oh, congratulations! And I’m sorry! And…um…okay… Don’t worry about being a geezer dad; I definitely think the older parents have their acts more together and seem to take it all in stride. Whereas I, as a younger mom (28 with my first) had to completely FREAK OUT about everything.
