Six on the brain #1

  1. Now that Neil Patrick Harris has confirmed he’s gay been Lanced, it makes his role as “himself” in Harold & Kumar a thousand times funnier. It was already the best part of the movie, but it’s off–the–charts funny now.

  2. My wife and I saw the movie Stranger than Fiction last weekend. I recommend it. If you go see it, don’t expect a “Will Farrell movie.” You’ll be disappointed.

But that’s not the point of this blurb. I don’t want to give anything away—not that it’s The Usual Suspects—but I realized that the words “I love your book” just might be some of the best words a writer hopes to hear.

  3. Golf would be way more interesting to watch if it was more like UFC.

  4. I can’t figure what’s worse: Madness licensing its signature song, “Our House,” to Maxwell House or the way Maxwell House’s ad agency butchered it.

The former I can forgive, but the latter is a hideous blend of art and commerce… much like MH’s, um, coffee is a hideous blend of beans and water.

  5. “The world is sometimes like plain oatmeal. Everything just seems lumpier when you don’t like it.” ∼A.S.

If you’ve ever had plain oatmeal you understand.

  6. Some people are double jointed. I wonder if anyone is double disjointed.
