The night I fell in love with Campbell Brown

by Rob @ 52 Novels on September 24, 2008

CNN's Campbell BrownEasy enough to pick the night she laid into Tucker Bounds and split his weaselly carcass from nuts to chin. (Seriously… has that guy even shaved yet?)

Last night’s episode of Election Central, however, is Campbell Brown’s defining moment: She eviscerated the McCain campaign for hiding Sarah Palin from the press.

Watch:

This rant isn’t about Palin. This one’s directed right at the heart of the matter and Brown cut right through to the bone.

Campbell Brown is my new television journalist girlfriend idol.

By the by, the New York Times has an excellent set of debate primers up… a video preview, a McCain teaser, and another for Barack.

AWESOME!

I agree. Let us really hear what the woman has to say (though I suspect we won’t much like it) and stop sheltering her.

Oh give it a rest! Every time Sarah Palin opens her mouth GREAT things come out of it. The media is so enthralled with her they are going to make the McCain campaign win by a landslide.

If by “great” you mean this answer to Katie Couric’s question about the Wall Street bailout:

“Ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up the economy– Oh, it’s got to be about job creation too. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions.”

then, yes, every time she opens her mouth GREAT things come out of it.
