Rob, I read the book when it first came out -- I picked it up in the Boulder Book Store and since I'm cool with vampires and it was in Denver and it had nymphos and it involved Rocky Flats -- it caught my eye. It really was a fun read. I hope you'll remember us with kindness. *sniff*

@Elke: I've got two from Huston on my TBR. They've gotten such great reviews I can't help but be interested.

@mum: Thanks!

@Feline: Just got back from my first class. He's quite dynamic, and he's got quite a story to tell about his road to writing the Felix Gomez series.

I had the opportunity to read a copy of The Nymphos of Rocky Flats when it first came out and I was pleasantly surprised. I have the author's second book in my TBR collection and am looking forward to reading it. I do read quite a bit of vampire fiction off and on, and found Acevedo's novel to be unique and fresh in its own right. I am glad you are enjoying it as well.

Enjoy the workshop tomorrow! I'll try not to turn too green with envy that you'll be meeting Mario Acevedo.

I recently read a trilogy of vampire novels -- the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyer. They are written for teenage girls but I guess I'm just immature like that!

Hope you enjoy your workshop!! I bet it's a good fit for you in terms of genre!
