Free books are good.

And Lynn Viehl agrees. That’s why she’s decided to grant a BookWish. Just drop by her blog before midnight EST on April 21, 2008… leave a comment in this thread.

Sometime after the deadline she’ll draw a name at random and the winner gets a book of their choice from any online retailer (up to $30 maximum).

  1. Great idea! What a list of books it was, too!

I just finished Harlan Coban’s “Hold Tight” - looked like I was the only one into thrillers, but someone was also reading a few authors I knew - including someone finally starting on the Harry Potter series - something parents discovered for themselves while buying for the kids.

  2. Yes, free books are very good. :-) I’ve been signing up for too many recently and need to scale back. So many good books on offer out there though.

  3. @Diane: My Mom and a few other writers I know keep recommending Coben to me. I suppose I should pick something up. Is there one you recommend?

@Wendy: Scale back? Like that’s possible. Thanks for commenting.
